I am still looking for an answer on this as I still cannot get it to work. So, I will restate the problem and provide all my code (there isn't much). But as I noted in the comments in that method, some collections that should contain the columns (names, old values and new values) are always empty. And the Row Updated method is never even touched!!! NET Forums that I need to use a Data Source control. For example a Sql Data Source, which is automatically added to your Web Form if you drag-n-drop your way around Visual Studio 2005.Pressing the ENTER or the TAB key while in the Text Box control is the most common way to change focus."In my Project i wrote the text changed event to textbox and set the property autopostback="true" it is work fine. But the problem is when press the tab or enter to that textbox It Occurs the Post Back to the enteir page please help me thanks in advanceyes textbox changed event works with only tab and enter.Check out what I’m trying to do, maybe you can help?First, I load up some data: After that, I’m doing some work to make my Grid View look beautifull, adding all columns by hand.

without one of these two options the button simply refuses to trigger anything, not Row Command, not Row Updating, nothing.Basically, I am working on a Grid View control that will display users from the Membership API.The user will be able to do certain tasks like approve users straight from the grid.may be someone improve this event for while textbox changing.

For a while now I’m trying to figure out why my method, triggered by the Grid View.

But for this demo, I’ll show you the simple version, that also doesn’t work 🙂Let’s bind the data to our Grid View and have it autogenerate our columns, as well as an edit button.
